بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

26:1 طسٓمٓ
26:1 Ta, Seen, Meem. - Saheeh International (English)

26:2 تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ
26:2 These are the verses of the clear Book. - Saheeh International (English)

26:3 لَعَلَّكَ بَـٰخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ
26:3 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:4 إِن نَّشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ ءَايَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَـٰقُهُمْ لَهَا خَـٰضِعِينَ
26:4 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. - Saheeh International (English)

26:5 وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ
26:5 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. - Saheeh International (English)

26:6 فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا۟ فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ أَنۢبَـٰٓؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
26:6 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. - Saheeh International (English)

26:7 أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَمْ أَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ
26:7 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? - Saheeh International (English)

26:8 إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
26:8 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:9 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
26:9 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. - Saheeh International (English)

26:10 وَإِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبُّكَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱئْتِ ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
26:10 And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people - - Saheeh International (English)

26:11 قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ
26:11 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:12 قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ
26:12 He said, "My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me - Saheeh International (English)

26:13 وَيَضِيقُ صَدْرِى وَلَا يَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِى فَأَرْسِلْ إِلَىٰ هَـٰرُونَ
26:13 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. - Saheeh International (English)

26:14 وَلَهُمْ عَلَىَّ ذَنۢبٌ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ
26:14 And they have upon me a [claim due to] sin, so I fear that they will kill me." - Saheeh International (English)

26:15 قَالَ كَلَّا ۖ فَٱذْهَبَا بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ ۖ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّسْتَمِعُونَ
26:15 [Allah] said, "No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening. - Saheeh International (English)

26:16 فَأْتِيَا فِرْعَوْنَ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولُ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:16 Go to Pharaoh and say, 'We are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds, - Saheeh International (English)

26:17 أَنْ أَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
26:17 [Commanded to say], "Send with us the Children of Israel."'" - Saheeh International (English)

26:18 قَالَ أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ
26:18 [Pharaoh] said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life? - Saheeh International (English)

26:19 وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ ٱلَّتِى فَعَلْتَ وَأَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
26:19 And [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful." - Saheeh International (English)

26:20 قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَآ إِذًا وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ
26:20 [Moses] said, "I did it, then, while I was of those astray. - Saheeh International (English)

26:21 فَفَرَرْتُ مِنكُمْ لَمَّا خِفْتُكُمْ فَوَهَبَ لِى رَبِّى حُكْمًا وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
26:21 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:22 وَتِلْكَ نِعْمَةٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَىَّ أَنْ عَبَّدتَّ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
26:22 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:23 قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَا رَبُّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:23 Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:24 قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ
26:24 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." - Saheeh International (English)

26:25 قَالَ لِمَنْ حَوْلَهُۥٓ أَلَا تَسْتَمِعُونَ
26:25 [Pharaoh] said to those around him, "Do you not hear?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:26 قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
26:26 [Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers." - Saheeh International (English)

26:27 قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَكُمُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمَجْنُونٌ
26:27 [Pharaoh] said, "Indeed, your 'messenger' who has been sent to you is mad." - Saheeh International (English)

26:28 قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ وَٱلْمَغْرِبِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
26:28 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." - Saheeh International (English)

26:29 قَالَ لَئِنِ ٱتَّخَذْتَ إِلَـٰهًا غَيْرِى لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمَسْجُونِينَ
26:29 [Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." - Saheeh International (English)

26:30 قَالَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكَ بِشَىْءٍ مُّبِينٍ
26:30 [Moses] said, "Even if I brought you proof manifest?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:31 قَالَ فَأْتِ بِهِۦٓ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
26:31 [Pharaoh] said, "Then bring it, if you should be of the truthful." - Saheeh International (English)

26:32 فَأَلْقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِىَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُّبِينٌ
26:32 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. - Saheeh International (English)

26:33 وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُۥ فَإِذَا هِىَ بَيْضَآءُ لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ
26:33 And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:34 قَالَ لِلْمَلَإِ حَوْلَهُۥٓ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَسَـٰحِرٌ عَلِيمٌ
26:34 [Pharaoh] said to the eminent ones around him, "Indeed, this is a learned magician. - Saheeh International (English)

26:35 يُرِيدُ أَن يُخْرِجَكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِۦ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُونَ
26:35 He wants to drive you out of your land by his magic, so what do you advise?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:36 قَالُوٓا۟ أَرْجِهْ وَأَخَاهُ وَٱبْعَثْ فِى ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ حَـٰشِرِينَ
26:36 They said, "Postpone [the matter of] him and his brother and send among the cities gatherers - Saheeh International (English)

26:37 يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيمٍ
26:37 Who will bring you every learned, skilled magician." - Saheeh International (English)

26:38 فَجُمِعَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ لِمِيقَـٰتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
26:38 So the magicians were assembled for the appointment of a well-known day. - Saheeh International (English)

26:39 وَقِيلَ لِلنَّاسِ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّجْتَمِعُونَ
26:39 And it was said to the people, "Will you congregate - Saheeh International (English)

26:40 لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ ٱلسَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ
26:40 That we might follow the magicians if they are the predominant?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:41 فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا۟ لِفِرْعَوْنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحْنُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ
26:41 And when the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, "Is there indeed for us a reward if we are the predominant?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:42 قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّمِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ
26:42 He said, "Yes, and indeed, you will then be of those near [to me]." - Saheeh International (English)

26:43 قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلْقُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ
26:43 Moses said to them, "Throw whatever you will throw." - Saheeh International (English)

26:44 فَأَلْقَوْا۟ حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا۟ بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبُونَ
26:44 So they threw their ropes and their staffs and said, "By the might of Pharaoh, indeed it is we who are predominant." - Saheeh International (English)

26:45 فَأَلْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ
26:45 Then Moses threw his staff, and at once it devoured what they falsified. - Saheeh International (English)

26:46 فَأُلْقِىَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَـٰجِدِينَ
26:46 So the magicians fell down in prostration [to Allah]. - Saheeh International (English)

26:47 قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:47 They said, "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds, - Saheeh International (English)

26:48 رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَـٰرُونَ
26:48 The Lord of Moses and Aaron." - Saheeh International (English)

26:49 قَالَ ءَامَنتُمْ لَهُۥ قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱلسِّحْرَ فَلَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۚ لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَـٰفٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
26:49 [Pharaoh] said, "You believed Moses before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic, but you are going to know. I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you all." - Saheeh International (English)

26:50 قَالُوا۟ لَا ضَيْرَ ۖ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ
26:50 They said, "No harm. Indeed, to our Lord we will return. - Saheeh International (English)

26:51 إِنَّا نَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَـٰيَـٰنَآ أَن كُنَّآ أَوَّلَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
26:51 Indeed, we aspire that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we were the first of the believers." - Saheeh International (English)

26:52 ۞ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِىٓ إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ
26:52 And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." - Saheeh International (English)

26:53 فَأَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ حَـٰشِرِينَ
26:53 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers - Saheeh International (English)

26:54 إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِيلُونَ
26:54 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, - Saheeh International (English)

26:55 وَإِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَآئِظُونَ
26:55 And indeed, they are enraging us, - Saheeh International (English)

26:56 وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَـٰذِرُونَ
26:56 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " - Saheeh International (English)

26:57 فَأَخْرَجْنَـٰهُم مِّن جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
26:57 So We removed them from gardens and springs - Saheeh International (English)

26:58 وَكُنُوزٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ
26:58 And treasures and honorable station - - Saheeh International (English)

26:59 كَذَٰلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَـٰهَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
26:59 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. - Saheeh International (English)

26:60 فَأَتْبَعُوهُم مُّشْرِقِينَ
26:60 So they pursued them at sunrise. - Saheeh International (English)

26:61 فَلَمَّا تَرَٰٓءَا ٱلْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَـٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ
26:61 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" - Saheeh International (English)

26:62 قَالَ كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّ مَعِىَ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ
26:62 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." - Saheeh International (English)

26:63 فَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْبَحْرَ ۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَٱلطَّوْدِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
26:63 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. - Saheeh International (English)

26:64 وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ
26:64 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:65 وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ
26:65 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. - Saheeh International (English)

26:66 ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ
26:66 Then We drowned the others. - Saheeh International (English)

26:67 إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
26:67 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:68 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
26:68 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. - Saheeh International (English)

26:69 وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
26:69 And recite to them the news of Abraham, - Saheeh International (English)

26:70 إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
26:70 When he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:71 قَالُوا۟ نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَـٰكِفِينَ
26:71 They said, "We worship idols and remain to them devoted." - Saheeh International (English)

26:72 قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ
26:72 He said, "Do they hear you when you supplicate? - Saheeh International (English)

26:73 أَوْ يَنفَعُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَضُرُّونَ
26:73 Or do they benefit you, or do they harm?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:74 قَالُوا۟ بَلْ وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا كَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ
26:74 They said, "But we found our fathers doing thus." - Saheeh International (English)

26:75 قَالَ أَفَرَءَيْتُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ
26:75 He said, "Then do you see what you have been worshipping, - Saheeh International (English)

26:76 أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُمُ ٱلْأَقْدَمُونَ
26:76 You and your ancient forefathers? - Saheeh International (English)

26:77 فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّىٓ إِلَّا رَبَّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:77 Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds, - Saheeh International (English)

26:78 ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَنِى فَهُوَ يَهْدِينِ
26:78 Who created me, and He [it is who] guides me. - Saheeh International (English)

26:79 وَٱلَّذِى هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِى وَيَسْقِينِ
26:79 And it is He who feeds me and gives me drink. - Saheeh International (English)

26:80 وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ
26:80 And when I am ill, it is He who cures me - Saheeh International (English)

26:81 وَٱلَّذِى يُمِيتُنِى ثُمَّ يُحْيِينِ
26:81 And who will cause me to die and then bring me to life - Saheeh International (English)

26:82 وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لِى خَطِيٓـَٔتِى يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ
26:82 And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense." - Saheeh International (English)

26:83 رَبِّ هَبْ لِى حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِى بِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
26:83 [And he said], "My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous. - Saheeh International (English)

26:84 وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
26:84 And grant me a reputation of honor among later generations. - Saheeh International (English)

26:85 وَٱجْعَلْنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
26:85 And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure. - Saheeh International (English)

26:86 وَٱغْفِرْ لِأَبِىٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ
26:86 And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray. - Saheeh International (English)

26:87 وَلَا تُخْزِنِى يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ
26:87 And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected - - Saheeh International (English)

26:88 يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ
26:88 The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children - Saheeh International (English)

26:89 إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
26:89 But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart." - Saheeh International (English)

26:90 وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
26:90 And Paradise will be brought near [that Day] to the righteous. - Saheeh International (English)

26:91 وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلْجَحِيمُ لِلْغَاوِينَ
26:91 And Hellfire will be brought forth for the deviators, - Saheeh International (English)

26:92 وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ
26:92 And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship - Saheeh International (English)

26:93 مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ هَلْ يَنصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنتَصِرُونَ
26:93 Other than Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:94 فَكُبْكِبُوا۟ فِيهَا هُمْ وَٱلْغَاوُۥنَ
26:94 So they will be overturned into Hellfire, they and the deviators - Saheeh International (English)

26:95 وَجُنُودُ إِبْلِيسَ أَجْمَعُونَ
26:95 And the soldiers of Iblees, all together. - Saheeh International (English)

26:96 قَالُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ
26:96 They will say while they dispute therein, - Saheeh International (English)

26:97 تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
26:97 "By Allah, we were indeed in manifest error - Saheeh International (English)

26:98 إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:98 When we equated you with the Lord of the worlds. - Saheeh International (English)

26:99 وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
26:99 And no one misguided us except the criminals. - Saheeh International (English)

26:100 فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَـٰفِعِينَ
26:100 So now we have no intercessors - Saheeh International (English)

26:101 وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍ
26:101 And not a devoted friend. - Saheeh International (English)

26:102 فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
26:102 Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers... " - Saheeh International (English)

26:103 إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
26:103 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:104 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
26:104 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. - Saheeh International (English)

26:105 كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
26:105 The people of Noah denied the messengers - Saheeh International (English)

26:106 إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
26:106 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? - Saheeh International (English)

26:107 إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
26:107 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. - Saheeh International (English)

26:108 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
26:108 So fear Allah and obey me. - Saheeh International (English)

26:109 وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:109 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. - Saheeh International (English)

26:110 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
26:110 So fear Allah and obey me." - Saheeh International (English)

26:111 ۞ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلْأَرْذَلُونَ
26:111 They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:112 قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِى بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
26:112 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? - Saheeh International (English)

26:113 إِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّى ۖ لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ
26:113 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. - Saheeh International (English)

26:114 وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
26:114 And I am not one to drive away the believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:115 إِنْ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
26:115 I am only a clear warner." - Saheeh International (English)

26:116 قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَـٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَرْجُومِينَ
26:116 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." - Saheeh International (English)

26:117 قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى كَذَّبُونِ
26:117 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. - Saheeh International (English)

26:118 فَٱفْتَحْ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَنَجِّنِى وَمَن مَّعِىَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
26:118 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." - Saheeh International (English)

26:119 فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
26:119 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. - Saheeh International (English)

26:120 ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ
26:120 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. - Saheeh International (English)

26:121 إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
26:121 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:122 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
26:122 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. - Saheeh International (English)

26:123 كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
26:123 'Aad denied the messengers - Saheeh International (English)

26:124 إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
26:124 When their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? - Saheeh International (English)

26:125 إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
26:125 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. - Saheeh International (English)

26:126 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
26:126 So fear Allah and obey me. - Saheeh International (English)

26:127 وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:127 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. - Saheeh International (English)

26:128 أَتَبْنُونَ بِكُلِّ رِيعٍ ءَايَةً تَعْبَثُونَ
26:128 Do you construct on every elevation a sign, amusing yourselves, - Saheeh International (English)

26:129 وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُونَ
26:129 And take for yourselves palaces and fortresses that you might abide eternally? - Saheeh International (English)

26:130 وَإِذَا بَطَشْتُم بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِينَ
26:130 And when you strike, you strike as tyrants. - Saheeh International (English)

26:131 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
26:131 So fear Allah and obey me. - Saheeh International (English)

26:132 وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَمَدَّكُم بِمَا تَعْلَمُونَ
26:132 And fear He who provided you with that which you know, - Saheeh International (English)

26:133 أَمَدَّكُم بِأَنْعَـٰمٍ وَبَنِينَ
26:133 Provided you with grazing livestock and children - Saheeh International (English)

26:134 وَجَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
26:134 And gardens and springs. - Saheeh International (English)

26:135 إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
26:135 Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a terrible day." - Saheeh International (English)

26:136 قَالُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَوَعَظْتَ أَمْ لَمْ تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْوَٰعِظِينَ
26:136 They said, "It is all the same to us whether you advise or are not of the advisors. - Saheeh International (English)

26:137 إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا خُلُقُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
26:137 This is not but the custom of the former peoples, - Saheeh International (English)

26:138 وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
26:138 And we are not to be punished." - Saheeh International (English)

26:139 فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
26:139 And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:140 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
26:140 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. - Saheeh International (English)

26:141 كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
26:141 Thamud denied the messengers - Saheeh International (English)

26:142 إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ صَـٰلِحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
26:142 When their brother Salih said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? - Saheeh International (English)

26:143 إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
26:143 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. - Saheeh International (English)

26:144 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
26:144 So fear Allah and obey me. - Saheeh International (English)

26:145 وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:145 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. - Saheeh International (English)

26:146 أَتُتْرَكُونَ فِى مَا هَـٰهُنَآ ءَامِنِينَ
26:146 Will you be left in what is here, secure [from death], - Saheeh International (English)

26:147 فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
26:147 Within gardens and springs - Saheeh International (English)

26:148 وَزُرُوعٍ وَنَخْلٍ طَلْعُهَا هَضِيمٌ
26:148 And fields of crops and palm trees with softened fruit? - Saheeh International (English)

26:149 وَتَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا فَـٰرِهِينَ
26:149 And you carve out of the mountains, homes, with skill. - Saheeh International (English)

26:150 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
26:150 So fear Allah and obey me. - Saheeh International (English)

26:151 وَلَا تُطِيعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
26:151 And do not obey the order of the transgressors, - Saheeh International (English)

26:152 ٱلَّذِينَ يُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ
26:152 Who cause corruption in the land and do not amend." - Saheeh International (English)

26:153 قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ
26:153 They said, "You are only of those affected by magic. - Saheeh International (English)

26:154 مَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا فَأْتِ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
26:154 You are but a man like ourselves, so bring a sign, if you should be of the truthful." - Saheeh International (English)

26:155 قَالَ هَـٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةٌ لَّهَا شِرْبٌ وَلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
26:155 He said, "This is a she-camel. For her is a [time of] drink, and for you is a [time of] drink, [each] on a known day. - Saheeh International (English)

26:156 وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
26:156 And do not touch her with harm, lest you be seized by the punishment of a terrible day." - Saheeh International (English)

26:157 فَعَقَرُوهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ نَـٰدِمِينَ
26:157 But they hamstrung her and so became regretful. - Saheeh International (English)

26:158 فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
26:158 And the punishment seized them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:159 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
26:159 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. - Saheeh International (English)

26:160 كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
26:160 The people of Lot denied the messengers - Saheeh International (English)

26:161 إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
26:161 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? - Saheeh International (English)

26:162 إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
26:162 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. - Saheeh International (English)

26:163 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
26:163 So fear Allah and obey me. - Saheeh International (English)

26:164 وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:164 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. - Saheeh International (English)

26:165 أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:165 Do you approach males among the worlds - Saheeh International (English)

26:166 وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ
26:166 And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing." - Saheeh International (English)

26:167 قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَـٰلُوطُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُخْرَجِينَ
26:167 They said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted." - Saheeh International (English)

26:168 قَالَ إِنِّى لِعَمَلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلْقَالِينَ
26:168 He said, "Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it]. - Saheeh International (English)

26:169 رَبِّ نَجِّنِى وَأَهْلِى مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ
26:169 My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do." - Saheeh International (English)

26:170 فَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ
26:170 So We saved him and his family, all, - Saheeh International (English)

26:171 إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِى ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ
26:171 Except an old woman among those who remained behind. - Saheeh International (English)

26:172 ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ
26:172 Then We destroyed the others. - Saheeh International (English)

26:173 وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
26:173 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. - Saheeh International (English)

26:174 إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
26:174 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:175 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
26:175 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. - Saheeh International (English)

26:176 كَذَّبَ أَصْحَـٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
26:176 The companions of the thicket denied the messengers - Saheeh International (English)

26:177 إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ شُعَيْبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
26:177 When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? - Saheeh International (English)

26:178 إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
26:178 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. - Saheeh International (English)

26:179 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
26:179 So fear Allah and obey me. - Saheeh International (English)

26:180 وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:180 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. - Saheeh International (English)

26:181 ۞ أَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْكَيْلَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُخْسِرِينَ
26:181 Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss. - Saheeh International (English)

26:182 وَزِنُوا۟ بِٱلْقِسْطَاسِ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِ
26:182 And weigh with an even balance. - Saheeh International (English)

26:183 وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا۟ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشْيَآءَهُمْ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
26:183 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. - Saheeh International (English)

26:184 وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ وَٱلْجِبِلَّةَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
26:184 And fear He who created you and the former creation." - Saheeh International (English)

26:185 قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ
26:185 They said, "You are only of those affected by magic. - Saheeh International (English)

26:186 وَمَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَإِن نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ
26:186 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. - Saheeh International (English)

26:187 فَأَسْقِطْ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
26:187 So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful." - Saheeh International (English)

26:188 قَالَ رَبِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
26:188 He said, "My Lord is most knowing of what you do." - Saheeh International (English)

26:189 فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ ٱلظُّلَّةِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
26:189 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. - Saheeh International (English)

26:190 إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
26:190 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:191 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
26:191 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. - Saheeh International (English)

26:192 وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَنزِيلُ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
26:192 And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. - Saheeh International (English)

26:193 نَزَلَ بِهِ ٱلرُّوحُ ٱلْأَمِينُ
26:193 The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down - Saheeh International (English)

26:194 عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ
26:194 Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - - Saheeh International (English)

26:195 بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِىٍّ مُّبِينٍ
26:195 In a clear Arabic language. - Saheeh International (English)

26:196 وَإِنَّهُۥ لَفِى زُبُرِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
26:196 And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the scriptures of former peoples. - Saheeh International (English)

26:197 أَوَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُمْ ءَايَةً أَن يَعْلَمَهُۥ عُلَمَـٰٓؤُا۟ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
26:197 And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? - Saheeh International (English)

26:198 وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَـٰهُ عَلَىٰ بَعْضِ ٱلْأَعْجَمِينَ
26:198 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners - Saheeh International (English)

26:199 فَقَرَأَهُۥ عَلَيْهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ مُؤْمِنِينَ
26:199 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. - Saheeh International (English)

26:200 كَذَٰلِكَ سَلَكْنَـٰهُ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
26:200 Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals. - Saheeh International (English)

26:201 لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ
26:201 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. - Saheeh International (English)

26:202 فَيَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
26:202 And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not. - Saheeh International (English)

26:203 فَيَقُولُوا۟ هَلْ نَحْنُ مُنظَرُونَ
26:203 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" - Saheeh International (English)

26:204 أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
26:204 So for Our punishment are they impatient? - Saheeh International (English)

26:205 أَفَرَءَيْتَ إِن مَّتَّعْنَـٰهُمْ سِنِينَ
26:205 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years - Saheeh International (English)

26:206 ثُمَّ جَآءَهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ
26:206 And then there came to them that which they were promised? - Saheeh International (English)

26:207 مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يُمَتَّعُونَ
26:207 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. - Saheeh International (English)

26:208 وَمَآ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ
26:208 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners - Saheeh International (English)

26:209 ذِكْرَىٰ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَـٰلِمِينَ
26:209 As a reminder; and never have We been unjust. - Saheeh International (English)

26:210 وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينُ
26:210 And the devils have not brought the revelation down. - Saheeh International (English)

26:211 وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
26:211 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. - Saheeh International (English)

26:212 إِنَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَ
26:212 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. - Saheeh International (English)

26:213 فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُعَذَّبِينَ
26:213 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. - Saheeh International (English)

26:214 وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ ٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ
26:214 And warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred. - Saheeh International (English)

26:215 وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
26:215 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. - Saheeh International (English)

26:216 فَإِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ إِنِّى بَرِىٓءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
26:216 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." - Saheeh International (English)

26:217 وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
26:217 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, - Saheeh International (English)

26:218 ٱلَّذِى يَرَىٰكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
26:218 Who sees you when you arise - Saheeh International (English)

26:219 وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِى ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
26:219 And your movement among those who prostrate. - Saheeh International (English)

26:220 إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
26:220 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. - Saheeh International (English)

26:221 هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَن تَنَزَّلُ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينُ
26:221 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? - Saheeh International (English)

26:222 تَنَزَّلُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ
26:222 They descend upon every sinful liar. - Saheeh International (English)

26:223 يُلْقُونَ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَـٰذِبُونَ
26:223 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. - Saheeh International (English)

26:224 وَٱلشُّعَرَآءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ ٱلْغَاوُۥنَ
26:224 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; - Saheeh International (English)

26:225 أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّهُمْ فِى كُلِّ وَادٍ يَهِيمُونَ
26:225 Do you not see that in every valley they roam - Saheeh International (English)

26:226 وَأَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ
26:226 And that they say what they do not do? - - Saheeh International (English)

26:227 إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَذَكَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَٱنتَصَرُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا۟ ۗ وَسَيَعْلَمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَىَّ مُنقَلَبٍ يَنقَلِبُونَ
26:227 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. - Saheeh International (English)
