بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
93:1
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ
93:1
By the Glorious Morning Light, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
93:2
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ
93:2
And by the Night when it is still,- - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
93:3
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ
93:3
Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
93:4
وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ
93:4
And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
93:5
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ
93:5
And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
93:6
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰ
93:6
Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
93:7
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰ
93:7
And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
93:8
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ
93:8
And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
93:9
فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ
93:9
Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
93:10
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ
93:10
Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
93:11
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ
93:11
But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
