بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

51:1 وَٱلذَّٰرِيَـٰتِ ذَرْوًا
51:1 By (the winds) that scatter dust. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:2 فَٱلْحَـٰمِلَـٰتِ وِقْرًا
51:2 And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:3 فَٱلْجَـٰرِيَـٰتِ يُسْرًا
51:3 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:4 فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَـٰتِ أَمْرًا
51:4 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:5 إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ
51:5 Verily, that which you are promised (i.e. Resurrection in the Hereafter and receiving the reward or punishment of good or bad deeds, etc.) is surely true. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:6 وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌ

51:7 وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ
51:7 By the heaven full of paths, - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:8 إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ
51:8 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:9 يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ
51:9 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:10 قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ
51:10 Cursed be the liars, - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:11 ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ
51:11 Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter), - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:12 يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
51:12 They ask; "When will be the Day of Recompense?" - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:13 يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ
51:13 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire! - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:14 ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
51:14 "Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!" - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:15 إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
51:15 Verily, the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs (in the Paradise), - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:16 ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ
51:16 Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:17 كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ
51:17 They used to sleep but little by night [invoking their Lord (Allah) and praying, with fear and hope]. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:18 وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
51:18 And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness, - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:19 وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
51:19 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:20 وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَـٰتٌ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ
51:20 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:21 وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
51:21 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:22 وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ
51:22 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:23 فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ
51:23 Then, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is the truth (i.e. what has been promised to you), just as it is the truth that you can speak. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:24 هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
51:24 Has the story reached you, of the honoured guests [three angels; Jibrael (Gabriel) along with another two] of Ibrahim (Abraham)? - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:25 إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَـٰمٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
51:25 When they came in to him, and said, "Salam, (peace be upon you)!" He answered; "Salam, (peace be upon you)," and said: "You are a people unknown to me," - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:26 فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ
51:26 Then he turned to his household, so brought out a roasted calf [as the property of Ibrahim (Abraham) was mainly cows]. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:27 فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
51:27 And placed it before them, (saying): "Will you not eat?" - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:28 فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَـٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ
51:28 Then he conceived a fear of them (when they ate not). They said: "Fear not." And they gave him glad tidings of an intelligent son, having knowledge (about Allah and His religion of True Monotheism). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:29 فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ
51:29 Then his wife came forward with a loud voice, she smote her face, and said: "A barren old woman!" - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:30 قَالُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
51:30 They said: "Even so says your Lord. Verily, He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower." - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:31 ۞ قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
51:31 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Then for what purpose you have come, O Messengers?" - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:32 قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
51:32 They said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in Allah); - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:33 لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن طِينٍ
51:33 To send down upon them stones of baked clay. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:34 مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ
51:34 Marked by your Lord for the Musrifun (polytheists, criminals, sinners those who trespass Allah's set limits in evil-doings by committing great sins). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:35 فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
51:35 So We brought out from therein the believers. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:36 فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
51:36 But We found not there any household of the Muslims except one [i.e. Lout (Lot) and his two daughters]. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:37 وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةً لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ
51:37 And We have left there a sign (i.e. the place of the Dead Sea, well-known in Palestine) for those who fear the painful torment. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:38 وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَـٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
51:38 And in Musa (Moses) (too, there is a sign). When We sent him to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) with a manifest authority. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:39 فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَـٰحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
51:39 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] turned away (from Belief in might) along with his hosts, and said: "A sorcerer, or a madman." - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:40 فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَـٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ
51:40 So We took him and his hosts, and dumped them into the sea, while he was to be blamed. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:41 وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ
51:41 And in 'Ad (there is also a sign) when We sent against them the barren wind; - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:42 مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ
51:42 It spared nothing that it reached, but blew it into broken spreads of rotten ruins. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:43 وَفِى ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ
51:43 And in Thamud (there is also a sign), when they were told: "Enjoy yourselves for a while!" - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:44 فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
51:44 But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord, so the Sa'iqah overtook them while they were looking. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:45 فَمَا ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟ مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِينَ
51:45 Then they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:46 وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَـٰسِقِينَ
51:46 (So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them. Verily, they were a people who were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:47 وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا بِأَيْي۟دٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ
51:47 With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:48 وَٱلْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَـٰهَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَـٰهِدُونَ
51:48 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:49 وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
51:49 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:50 فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
51:50 So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:51 وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
51:51 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:52 كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
51:52 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:53 أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
51:53 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:54 فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ
51:54 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:55 وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
51:55 And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:56 وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
51:56 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:57 مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ
51:57 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:58 إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ
51:58 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:59 فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَـٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ
51:59 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

51:60 فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ
51:60 Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)
