بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
92:1
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ
92:1
By the night when it envelops, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:2
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
92:2
by the day when it brightens, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:3
وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ
92:3
by Him who created the male and the female: - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:4
إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ
92:4
your endeavours are indeed diverse. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:5
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
92:5
As for him who gives and is Godwary - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:6
وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
92:6
and confirms the best promise, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:7
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
92:7
We will surely ease him toward facility. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:8
وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ
92:8
But as for him, who is stingy and self-complacent, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:9
وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
92:9
and denies the best promise, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:10
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ
92:10
We will surely ease him toward hardship. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:11
وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ
92:11
His wealth will not avail him when he perishes. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:12
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ
92:12
Indeed guidance rests with Us, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:13
وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْـَٔاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ
92:13
and to Us belong the world and the Hereafter. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:14
فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ
92:14
So I warn you of a blazing fire, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:15
لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى
92:15
which none shall enter except the most wretched [of persons] - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:16
ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
92:16
—he who impugns [God’s prophets] and turns his back. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:17
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى
92:17
The Godwary [person] will be spared of that - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:18
ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
92:18
—he who gives his wealth to purify himself - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:19
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰٓ
92:19
and does not expect any reward from anyone, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:20
إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
92:20
but seek only the pleasure of their Lord, the Most Exalted, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
92:21
وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ
92:21
and, surely, soon they will be well-pleased. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
