بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
92:1
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ
92:1
By the night, when it envelops, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:2
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
92:2
and by the day when it unveils. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:3
وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ
92:3
And by Who created the male and female, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:4
إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ
92:4
your striving is indeed to different ends! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:5
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
92:5
For him that gives and fears (Allah) - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:6
وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
92:6
and believes in the finest, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:7
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
92:7
We shall surely ease him to the Path of Easing; - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:8
وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ
92:8
but for him that is a miser, and sufficed, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:9
وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
92:9
and he belied the finest - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:10
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ
92:10
We shall surely ease for him the Path of Hardship (the Fire). - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:11
وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ
92:11
When he falls (into Hell), his wealth will not help him. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:12
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ
92:12
Indeed, Guidance is Ours, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:13
وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْـَٔاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ
92:13
and to Us belong the Last and the First. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:14
فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ
92:14
I have now warned you of the Blazing Fire, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:15
لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى
92:15
in which none shall be roasted except the most wretched sinner, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:16
ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
92:16
who belied and turned away, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:17
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى
92:17
and from which the cautious shall be distanced. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:18
ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
92:18
He who gives his wealth to be purified, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:19
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰٓ
92:19
and confers no favor upon anyone for recompense - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:20
إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
92:20
seeking only the Face of his Lord, the Most High, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
92:21
وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ
92:21
surely, he shall be satisfied. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
