101:1
ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
101:1
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
101:2
What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
101:3
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
101:3
And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
101:4
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ
101:4
(It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
101:5
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ
101:5
And the mountains will be like carded wool. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
101:6
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
101:6
Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
101:7
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ
101:7
Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
101:8
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
101:8
But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
101:9
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ
101:9
Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
101:10
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ
101:10
And what will explain to thee what this is? - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
101:11
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ
101:11
(It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
