بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
15:1
الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَقُرْءَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
15:1
Alif. Lam. Ra. These are the verses of the Book, and a Qur'an luminous. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:2
رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ مُسْلِمِينَ
15:2
Oft times would those who disbelieve fain that they had been Muslims. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:3
ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ وَيُلْهِهِمُ ٱلْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
15:3
Leave them thou to eat and to enjoy, and let vain hope divert them; presently they will know. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:4
وَمَآ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
15:4
And We have not destroyed a town but there was therefor a decree known. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:5
مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ
15:5
No community precedeth the term thereof nor doth it fall behind. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:6
وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
15:6
And they say: O thou unto whom the Admonition hath been sent down! verily thou art possessed. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:7
لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
15:7
Why bringest thou not angels unto us if thou art of the truthtellers! - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:8
مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ
15:8
We send not the angels down save with judgment, and then they would not be respited. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:9
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا ٱلذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَـٰفِظُونَ
15:9
Verily We! it is We who have revealed the Admonition, and verily We are the guardians thereof. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:10
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى شِيَعِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
15:10
And assuredly We have sent apostles before thee among the sects of the ancients. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:11
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
15:11
And not an apostle came unto them but at him they were wont to mock. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:12
كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
15:12
Even so we make a way for it in the hearts of the culprits. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:13
لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
15:13
They believe not therein, and already the example of the ancients hath gone forth. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:14
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
15:14
And if We opened upon them a door of the heaven, and they passed the day mounting thereto. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:15
لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَـٰرُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
15:15
They would surely say: intoxicated have been our sights; aye! we are a people enchanted. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:16
وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ
15:16
And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:17
وَحَفِظْنَـٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَـٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ
15:17
And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:18
إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ
15:18
Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:19
وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَـٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
15:19
And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:20
وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَـٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ
15:20
And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:21
وَإِن مِّن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
15:21
And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:22
وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَـٰزِنِينَ
15:22
And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:23
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ
15:23
And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:24
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ
15:24
And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:25
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
15:25
And veriiy thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise. Knowing. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:26
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:26
And assuredly We have created human being from ringing clay of loam moulded. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:27
وَٱلْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَـٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ
15:27
And the Jinn, We had created them afore of the fire of the scroching wind. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:28
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَـٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:28
And recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to createa man from ringing clay of loam moulded. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:29
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَـٰجِدِينَ
15:29
Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My Spirit fall down unto him prostrate. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:30
فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
15:30
So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:31
إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:31
But Iblis did not; he refused to be with the prostrates. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:32
قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:32
Allah said: O Iblis! what aileth thou that thou art not with the prostrates? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:33
قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:33
He said it was not for me that should prostrate myself unto a human being whom Thou hast created from ringing clay of loam moulded. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:34
قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
15:34
Allah said: then get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art one damned. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:35
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ ٱللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ
15:35
And verily on thee shall be the curse till the Day of Requital. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:36
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
15:36
He said: my Lord! respite me then till the Day whereon they will be raised up. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:37
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ
15:37
Allah said: verily then thou art of the respited: - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:38
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ
15:38
Till the Day of the Time known. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:39
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:39
He said: my Lord! because Thou hast led me to err I will surely make things fairseeming unto them on the earth and will surely seduce them all: - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:40
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
15:40
But not such of them as are Thy bondmen single-hearted. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:41
قَالَ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَىَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
15:41
Allah said: this is the path leeding unto Me straight. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:42
إِنَّ عِبَادِى لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَـٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَاوِينَ
15:42
Verily as for My bondmen, no authority shalt thou have over them, except the erring one who follow thee. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:43
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:43
And verily Hell is the place promised unto them all. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:44
لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَٰبٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ
15:44
Unto it are seven portals; unto each portal is a Portion of them assigned. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:45
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
15:45
Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:46
ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ
15:46
Enter therein in peace, secure. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:47
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ
15:47
And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they. sitting upon couches facing each other. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:48
لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ
15:48
There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:49
۞ نَبِّئْ عِبَادِىٓ أَنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
15:49
Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:50
وَأَنَّ عَذَابِى هُوَ ٱلْعَذَابُ ٱلْأَلِيمُ
15:50
And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:51
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
15:51
And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:52
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ
15:52
When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:53
قَالُوا۟ لَا تَوْجَلْ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَـٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ
15:53
They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:54
قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِى عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِىَ ٱلْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ
15:54
He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:55
قَالُوا۟ بَشَّرْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْقَـٰنِطِينَ
15:55
They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:56
قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ
15:56
He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:57
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
15:57
He said: what is your errand, sent ones? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:58
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
15:58
They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty- - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:59
إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:59
All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:60
إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَآ ۙ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ
15:60
But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:61
فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
15:61
Then when the sent ones entered unto the household of Lut. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:62
قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
15:62
He said: verily ye are a people stranger. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:63
قَالُوا۟ بَلْ جِئْنَـٰكَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
15:63
They said: nay! we have come to thee with that whereof they have been dubitating. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:64
وَأَتَيْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ
15:64
And we have brought unto thee the truth, and verily we say sooth. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:65
فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱتَّبِعْ أَدْبَـٰرَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ
15:65
So set out thou with thy house hold in a portion of the night, and follow thou their backs, and let not one of you look back, and pass whither ye are commanded. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:66
وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ
15:66
And We decreed unto him this commandment because the last of those was to be cut off in the early morning. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:67
وَجَآءَ أَهْلُ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
15:67
And there came the people of the city rejoicing - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:68
قَالَ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ
15:68
He said: verily these are my guests, so disgace me not. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:69
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ
15:69
And fear Allah, and humiliate me not. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:70
قَالُوٓا۟ أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
15:70
They said: forbade we not thee against the worlds? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:71
قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِىٓ إِن كُنتُمْ فَـٰعِلِينَ
15:71
He said: these are my daughters, if act ye must. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:72
لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِى سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
15:72
By thy life, in their intoxication they were wandering bewildered. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:73
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ
15:73
Then the shout took hold of them at the sunrise. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:74
فَجَعَلْنَا عَـٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
15:74
And We made the upside there of downwards, and We rained on them stones of baked clay. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:75
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ
15:75
Verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:76
وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقِيمٍ
15:76
And verily they are on a pathway lasting. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:77
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
15:77
Verily in that is a sign for the believers. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:78
وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ لَظَـٰلِمِينَ
15:78
And the dwellers of the wood surely were wrong-doers. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:79
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
15:79
So We took vengeance on them. And verily both are on a high-road open. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:80
وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْحِجْرِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
15:80
And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:81
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا فَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
15:81
And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:82
وَكَانُوا۟ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ
15:82
And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:83
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ
15:83
Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:84
فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
15:84
Then availed them not that which they had been earning. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:85
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَـَٔاتِيَةٌ ۖ فَٱصْفَحِ ٱلصَّفْحَ ٱلْجَمِيلَ
15:85
And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:86
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
15:86
Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:87
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَـٰكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ ٱلْمَثَانِى وَٱلْقُرْءَانَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ
15:87
And assuredly We have vouchsafed unto thee seven of the repetitions and the mighty Qur'an. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:88
لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
15:88
Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

وَقُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلْمُبِينُ

كَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِينَ
15:90
Even as We sent down on the dividers - - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عِضِينَ
15:91
Those who have made the scripture bits. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:92
By thy Lord, We will question them all. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
15:93
For that which they have been working. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:94
فَٱصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
15:94
Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
15:95
إِنَّا كَفَيْنَـٰكَ ٱلْمُسْتَهْزِءِينَ
15:95
Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
15:96
Who set up along with Allah anot her god; presently they shall know. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ
15:97
And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:98
So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

وَٱعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ
15:99
And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
