بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
15:1
الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَقُرْءَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
15:1
Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of a clear Book, the Quran. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:2
رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ مُسْلِمِينَ
15:2
A time will surely come when those who are bent on denying the truth will wish that they had surrendered themselves to God, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:3
ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ وَيُلْهِهِمُ ٱلْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
15:3
so leave them to eat and enjoy themselves and let them be beguiled by vain hopes; for soon they will realise [the truth]. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:4
وَمَآ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
15:4
We have never destroyed a township without a definite decree having been issued; - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:5
مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ
15:5
no people can forestall their doom, nor can they delay it. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:6
وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
15:6
They say, "You to whom the Reminder [the Quran] has been sent down, you are surely possessed. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:7
لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
15:7
Why do you not bring down the angels upon us, if you are truthful?" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:8
مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ
15:8
But We send down the angels only to bring justice and then they will not be reprieved. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:9
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا ٱلذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَـٰفِظُونَ
15:9
It is We who have sent down the Reminder and We will, most surely, safeguard it. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:10
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى شِيَعِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
15:10
We sent messengers before you to the previous peoples, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:11
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
15:11
but there was never a messenger who came to them but they mocked him: - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:12
كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
15:12
thus We cause this [habit of mocking] to enter into the hearts of the sinful. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:13
لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
15:13
They will not believe in it, though they have before them the example of former peoples, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:14
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
15:14
and even if We opened to them a door from heaven, and they began ascending through it, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:15
لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَـٰرُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
15:15
they would still say, "Our eyes have been dazzled. We are bewitched." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:16
وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ
15:16
We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:17
وَحَفِظْنَـٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَـٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ
15:17
and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:18
إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ
15:18
but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:19
وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَـٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
15:19
We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:20
وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَـٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ
15:20
We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:21
وَإِن مِّن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
15:21
There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:22
وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَـٰزِنِينَ
15:22
We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:23
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ
15:23
Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:24
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ
15:24
We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:25
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
15:25
It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:26
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:26
We created man out of dry clay, from moulded mud, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:27
وَٱلْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَـٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ
15:27
and the jinn We had created before from flaming fire. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:28
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَـٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:28
Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to bring into being a man wrought from mud. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:29
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَـٰجِدِينَ
15:29
When I have formed him and breathed My spirit into him, fall down in prostration before him," - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:30
فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
15:30
then the angels all prostrated themselves together. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:31
إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:31
But Satan did not; he refused to join those who prostrated themselves. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:32
قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:32
God asked him, "What is the matter with you, that you are not among those who have prostrated themselves?" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:33
قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:33
He replied, "I am not one to prostrate myself to a man whom You have created out of a clay of moulded mud." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:34
قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
15:34
God said, "Then get out of here; for you are accursed, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:35
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ ٱللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ
15:35
and the curse shall be on you till the Day of Judgement!" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:36
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
15:36
Satan said, "O my Lord! Grant me respite till the Day of Resurrection." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:37
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ
15:37
He said, "You are granted respite - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:38
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ
15:38
till that Appointed Day." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:39
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:39
He said, "My Lord, since You have let me go astray. I shall make the path of error seem alluring to them on the earth and shall mislead them all, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:40
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
15:40
except for Your chosen servants." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:41
قَالَ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَىَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
15:41
God said, "This is the path which leads straight to Me. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:42
إِنَّ عِبَادِى لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَـٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَاوِينَ
15:42
Surely, you shall have no power over My true servants, except those misguided ones who choose to follow you. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:43
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:43
Surely, Hell is the place to which they are destined, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:44
لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَٰبٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ
15:44
it has seven gates: and each gate has a portion of them allotted to it. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:45
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
15:45
Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:46
ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ
15:46
"Enter therein in peace and security!" -- - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:47
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ
15:47
We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:48
لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ
15:48
They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:49
۞ نَبِّئْ عِبَادِىٓ أَنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
15:49
Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:50
وَأَنَّ عَذَابِى هُوَ ٱلْعَذَابُ ٱلْأَلِيمُ
15:50
and that My punishment is a painful punishment. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:51
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
15:51
Tell them about Abraham's guests: - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:52
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ
15:52
when they came to him they greeted him with: "Peace." He said,"We feel afraid of you." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:53
قَالُوا۟ لَا تَوْجَلْ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَـٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ
15:53
They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:54
قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِى عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِىَ ٱلْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ
15:54
He said, "Do you bring me such news despite my old age? What kind of good news are you bringing me?" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:55
قَالُوا۟ بَشَّرْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْقَـٰنِطِينَ
15:55
They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:56
قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ
15:56
He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:57
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
15:57
Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:58
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
15:58
They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:59
إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:59
Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:60
إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَآ ۙ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ
15:60
except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:61
فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
15:61
When the messengers came to Lot and his family, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:62
قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
15:62
he said, "You are strangers [to me]." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:63
قَالُوا۟ بَلْ جِئْنَـٰكَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
15:63
They said, "No, but we bring you news about what they disputed, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:64
وَأَتَيْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ
15:64
and we have come to you with the truth, and surely we are truthful, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:65
فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱتَّبِعْ أَدْبَـٰرَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ
15:65
so leave with your family some time in the latter part of the night, and walk behind them. Let none of you look back. Go where you are commanded." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:66
وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ
15:66
We communicated to him Our decree that the guilty ones would be destroyed by the morning. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:67
وَجَآءَ أَهْلُ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
15:67
The people of the town came along, revelling, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:68
قَالَ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ
15:68
and he told them, "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:69
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ
15:69
Fear God and do not shame me." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:70
قَالُوٓا۟ أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
15:70
They said, "Did we not forbid you to extend hospitality to strangers?" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:71
قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِىٓ إِن كُنتُمْ فَـٰعِلِينَ
15:71
He said, "Here are my daughters, if you must act in this way." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:72
لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِى سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
15:72
By your life, they wandered on in their wild intoxication - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:73
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ
15:73
and thereupon the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at sunrise. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:74
فَجَعَلْنَا عَـٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
15:74
We turned the town upside down and rained upon them stones of clay. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:75
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ
15:75
There are certainly signs in that for those who can learn a lesson -- - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:76
وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقِيمٍ
15:76
it is still there on the highway -- - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:77
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
15:77
surely in this there is a sign for those who believe. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:78
وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ لَظَـٰلِمِينَ
15:78
The people of the Wood were also surely wrongdoers. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:79
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
15:79
So We took vengeance on them. Both are still there on the highway, plain for all to see. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:80
وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْحِجْرِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
15:80
The people of al-Hijr also rejected Our messengers: - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:81
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا فَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
15:81
We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:82
وَكَانُوا۟ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ
15:82
They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:83
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ
15:83
the blast overtook them early one morning. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:84
فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
15:84
All that they had acquired was of no avail to them. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:85
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَـَٔاتِيَةٌ ۖ فَٱصْفَحِ ٱلصَّفْحَ ٱلْجَمِيلَ
15:85
We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two in accordance with the requirements of truth and wisdom. The Hour is surely coming. So overlook [their faults] with gracious forgiveness. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:86
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
15:86
Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:87
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَـٰكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ ٱلْمَثَانِى وَٱلْقُرْءَانَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ
15:87
We have given you the seven oft-recited verses and the great Quran. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:88
لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
15:88
Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:89
وَقُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
15:89
and say, "I am, indeed, a plain warner," - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:90
كَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِينَ
15:90
such as We send down for those who are divisive, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:91
ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عِضِينَ
15:91
and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
15:92
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

فَٱصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

إِنَّا كَفَيْنَـٰكَ ٱلْمُسْتَهْزِءِينَ

We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ

We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:98
But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

وَٱعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ
15:99
and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
