بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
82:1
إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ
82:1
When the sky is rent apart, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:2
وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ
82:2
when the stars are scattered, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:3
وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
82:3
when the seas are merged, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:4
وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
82:4
when the graves are overturned, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:5
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ
82:5
then a soul shall know what it has sent ahead and left behind. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:6
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ
82:6
O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:7
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
82:7
who created you and proportioned you, and gave you an upright nature, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:8
فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ
82:8
and composed you in any form that He wished? - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:9
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ
82:9
No! Indeed, you deny the Retribution. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:10
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَـٰفِظِينَ
82:10
Indeed, there are over you watchers, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:11
كِرَامًا كَـٰتِبِينَ
82:11
noble writers, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:12
يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
82:12
who know whatever you do. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:13
إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ
82:13
Indeed the pious shall be amid bliss, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:14
وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍ
82:14
and indeed the vicious shall be in hell, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:15
يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ
82:15
entering it on the Day of Retribution, - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:16
وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ
82:16
and they shall not be absent from it. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:17
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
82:17
And what will show you what is the Day of Retribution? - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:18
ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
82:18
Again, what will show you what is the Day of Retribution? - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
82:19
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا ۖ وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ
82:19
It is a day when no soul will be of any avail to another soul and all command that day will belong to Allah. - Ali Quli Qarai (English)
