                    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
                
                
                    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
                
            
                    55:1
                    ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:1

                    55:2
                    عَلَّمَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:2

                    55:3
                    خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:3

                    55:4
                    عَلَّمَهُ ٱلْبَيَانَ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:4

                    ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:5
                    The sun and the moon are in a reckoning.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:6
                    وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:6
                    And the herbs and the trees do obe isance."  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:7
                    وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمِيزَانَ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:7
                    And the heaven! He hath elevated it, and He hath set the balance.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:8
                    أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْمِيزَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:8
                    That ye should not trespass in respect of the balance.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:9
                    وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلْوَزْنَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا۟ ٱلْمِيزَانَ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:9
                    And observe the weight with equity, and make not deficient the balance.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:10
                    وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:10
                    And the earth! He hath lain it out for the creatures.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:11
                    فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَٱلنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ ٱلْأَكْمَامِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:11
                    Therein are fruit and palm-trees sheathed.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:12
                    وَٱلْحَبُّ ذُو ٱلْعَصْفِ وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:12
                    And grain chaffed and other food.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:13
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:13
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:14
                    خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ كَٱلْفَخَّارِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:14
                    He created man of clay like, Unto pottery.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:15
                    وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:15
                    And He created the Jinn of a flame of fire.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:16
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:16
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:17
                    رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:17
                    He is Lord of the two easts and Lord of the two wests.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:18
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:18

                    55:19
                    مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:19
                    He hath let loose the two seas.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:20
                    بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:20
                    In-between the twain is a barrier which they pass not.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:21
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:21

                    55:22
                    يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:22
                    There come forth from the twain the pearl and the coral.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:23
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:23

                    55:24
                    وَلَهُ ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:24
                    His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sea like mountains.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:25
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:25

                    55:26
                    كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:26
                    Everyone that is thereon will Pass away.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:27
                    وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:27
                    And there will remain the countenance of thine Lord, Owner of Majesty and Beneficence.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:28
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:28

                    55:29
                    يَسْـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِى شَأْنٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:29
                    Of Him beggeth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth; every day He is in a new affair.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:30
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:30
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:31
                    سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:31
                    Anon We shall direct Our selves to you, O ye two classes.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:32
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:32
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:33
                    يَـٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا۟ مِنْ أَقْطَارِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:33
                    O assembly of Jinn and man! if ye be able to pass out of the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass out; ye can not pass out except with authority.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:34
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:34
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:35
                    يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:35
                    There shall be sent against you both flame of fire and smoke, and ye shall not be able to defend yourselves.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:36
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:36
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:37
                    فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَٱلدِّهَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:37
                    And when the heaven will be rent in sunder and will become rosy like Unto red hide.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:38
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:38
                    Whfch, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie!  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:39
                    فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَآنٌّ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:39
                    Of his sin will be questioned that Day neither man nor jinn.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:40
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:40
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:41
                    يُعْرَفُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَـٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى وَٱلْأَقْدَامِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:41
                    The culprits will be recognised by their marks, and will be lain hold of by the forelocks and the feet.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:42
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:42
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:43
                    هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:43
                    Yonder is the Hell which the culprits belied.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:44
                    يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:44
                    Going round between it and balling water fierce.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:45
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:45
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:46
                    وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:46
                    And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:47
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:47
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:48
                    ذَوَاتَآ أَفْنَانٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:48
                    With spreading branches.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:49
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:49
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:50
                    فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:50
                    In which, will be two fountains running.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:51
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:51

                    55:52
                    فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:52
                    In which will be of every fruit two kinds.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:53
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:53

                    55:54
                    مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:54
                    Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:55
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:55

                    55:56
                    فِيهِنَّ قَـٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:56
                    Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:57
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:57

                    55:58
                    كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلْيَاقُوتُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:58
                    As though they are jacinth and coral.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:59
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:59

                    55:60
                    هَلْ جَزَآءُ ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:60
                    Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:61
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:61
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:62
                    وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:62
                    And beside the two there will be two other Gardens.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:63
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:63

                    55:64
                    مُدْهَآمَّتَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:64

                    55:65
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:65

                    55:66
                    فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:66
                    In which will be two fountains gushing forth.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:67
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:67
                    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:68
                    فِيهِمَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:68
                    In which will be fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:69
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:69

                    55:70
                    فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَٰتٌ حِسَانٌ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:70
                    Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:71
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:71

                    55:72
                    حُورٌ مَّقْصُورَٰتٌ فِى ٱلْخِيَامِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:72
                    Fair ones, confined in tents.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:73
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:73

                    55:74
                    لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:74
                    There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:75
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:75

                    55:76
                    مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِىٍّ حِسَانٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:76
                    Reclining upon cushions green and carpets beauteous.  - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:77
                    فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:77

                    55:78
                    تَبَـٰرَكَ ٱسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    55:78
