بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

76:1 هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ حِينٌ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْـًٔا مَّذْكُورًا
76:1 Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was nothing to be mentioned? - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:2 إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا
76:2 Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:3 إِنَّا هَدَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا
76:3 Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:4 إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ سَلَـٰسِلَا۟ وَأَغْلَـٰلًا وَسَعِيرًا
76:4 Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers iron chains, iron collars, and a blazing Fire. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:5 إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا
76:5 Verily, the Abrar (pious, who fear Allah and avoid evil), shall drink a cup (of wine) mixed with water from a spring in Paradise called Kafur. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:6 عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًا
76:6 A spring wherefrom the slaves of Allah will drink, causing it to gush forth abundantly. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:7 يُوفُونَ بِٱلنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسْتَطِيرًا
76:7 They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:8 وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا
76:8 And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive, - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:9 إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا
76:9 (Saying): "We feed you seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:10 إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْمًا عَبُوسًا قَمْطَرِيرًا
76:10 "Verily, We fear from our Lord a Day, hard and distressful, that will make the faces look horrible (from extreme dislikeness to it)." - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:11 فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُورًا
76:11 So Allah saved them from the evil of that Day, and gave them Nadratan (a light of beauty) and joy. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:12 وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًا

76:13 مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ ۖ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًا
76:13 Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:14 وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَـٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًا
76:14 And the shade thereof is close upon them, and the bunches of fruit thereof will hang low within their reach. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:15 وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِـَٔانِيَةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا۠
76:15 And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and cups of crystal, - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:16 قَوَارِيرَا۟ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيرًا

76:17 وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا
76:17 And they will be given to drink there a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabil (ginger, etc.), - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:18 عَيْنًا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلْسَبِيلًا

76:19 ۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنثُورًا
76:19 And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:20 وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيمًا وَمُلْكًا كَبِيرًا
76:20 And when you look there (in Paradise), you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined), and a great dominion. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:21 عَـٰلِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ ۖ وَحُلُّوٓا۟ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا
76:21 Their garments will be of fine green silk, and gold embroidery. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a pure drink. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:22 إِنَّ هَـٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَآءً وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُورًا
76:22 (And it will be said to them): "Verily, this is a reward for you, and your endeavour has been accepted." - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:23 إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَنزِيلًا
76:23 Verily! It is We Who have sent down the Quran to you (O Muhammad SAW) by stages. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:24 فَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ ءَاثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًا
76:24 Therefore be patient (O Muhammad SAW) and submit to the Command of your Lord (Allah, by doing your duty to Him and by conveying His Message to mankind), and obey neither a sinner nor a disbeliever among them. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:25 وَٱذْكُرِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
76:25 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:26 وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا
76:26 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:27 إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا
76:27 Verily! These (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:28 نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَـٰهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَآ أَسْرَهُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَآ أَمْثَـٰلَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا
76:28 It is We Who created them, and We have made them of strong built. And when We will, We can replace them with others like them with a complete replacement. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:29 إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌ ۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا
76:29 Verily! This (Verses of the Quran) is an admonition, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allah). - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:30 وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا
76:30 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)

76:31 يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ وَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۢا
76:31 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) He has prepared a painful torment. - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)
