Wahiduddin Khan
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
36:1
يسٓ
36:1
Ya-Sin. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:2
وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ
36:2
By the Qur'an full of wisdom. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:3
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
36:3
Verily thou art of the sent ones, - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:4
عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
36:4
upon the straight path. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:5
تَنزِيلَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
36:5
This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:6
لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَـٰفِلُونَ
36:6
That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:7
لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
36:7
Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:8
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَـٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَـٰلًا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
36:8
Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:9
وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَـٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
36:9
And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:10
وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
36:10
And it is alike Unto them, whather thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:11
إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ
36:11
Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou Unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:12
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَـٰرَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَـٰهُ فِىٓ إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:12
Verily We! We shall guicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:13
وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَآءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
36:13
And propound thou Unto them the similitude of the inhabitants of a town, When there came thereto the sent ones; - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:14
إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ
36:14
What time We sent Unto them two, then they belied the twain, wherefore We strengthened them with a third, and they said: verily we are Unto you the sent ones. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:15
قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ
36:15
They said: ye are but human beings like ourselves; the Compassionate hath not sent down aught; ye are only lying. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:16
قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ
36:16
They said: our Lord knoweth that we are surely Unto you the sent ones. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:17
وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
36:17
And on us is naught but manifest preaching. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:18
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا۟ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
36:18
They said: verily we augur ill of you; if ye desist not, we shall surely stone you, and there will befall you from us a torment afflictive. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:19
قَالُوا۟ طَـٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ
36:19
They said: your evil augury be with you. Call ye it an ill- luck because ye are admonished! Aye! ye are a people extravagant. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:20
وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
36:20
And there came from the farthest part of the town a man running. He said; O my people! follow the sent ones. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:21
ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرًا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
36:21
Follow those who ask not of you any hire, and who are rightly guided. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:22
وَمَا لِىَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
36:22
And what aileth me that I should not worship Him who hath created me, and Unto whom ye shall be returned. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:23
ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ
36:23
Shall I take beside Him gods when, if the Compassionate should intend me any harm, their intercession will avail me not at all, nor would they save me? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:24
إِنِّىٓ إِذًا لَّفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:24
Verily then I should be in error manifest. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:25
إِنِّىٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِ
36:25
Verily I believe now in your Lord; so hearken Unto me." - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:26
قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۖ قَالَ يَـٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ
36:26
It was said: enter thou the Garden. He said: would that my people knew. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:27
بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
36:27
That my Lord hath forgiven me, and hath made me of the honoured ones. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:28
۞ وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٍ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ
36:28
And We sent not against his people after him a host from heaven, nor have We been sending down any such. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:29
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَـٰمِدُونَ
36:29
It was but one shout, and lo! they were extinct. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:30
يَـٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
36:30
Ah the misery of the bondmen! there cometh not: Unto them an apostle but him they have been mocking. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:31
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
36:31
Behold they not how many We have destroyed before them of the generations! verily Unto them they shall not return. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:32
وَإِن كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
36:32
And surely all, every one of them, shall be brought before us. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:33
وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَـٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
36:33
And a sign Unto them is the dead land. We quicken it and therecut We bring forth grain, so that thereof they eat. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:34
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّـٰتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَـٰبٍ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ
36:34
And We place therein gardens of the date-palms and vines; and We therein cause to gush forth springs. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:35
لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
36:35
That they may eat of the fruit thereof; and their hands worked it not. Will they not, therefore, give thanks? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:36
سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
36:36
Hallowed be He who hath created all the pairs of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves and of that which they know not! - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:37
وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ
36:37
And a sign Unto them is the night. We draw off the day therefrom, and lo! they are darkened. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:38
وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ
36:38
And the sun runneth to its appointed term: that is the disposition of the Mighty, the Knowing." - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:39
وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَـٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ
36:39
And the moon! For it We have decreed mansions till it reverteth like the old branch of a palm-tree. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:40
لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنۢبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فِى فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
36:40
It is not permitted to the sun that it should overtake the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day: each in an orbit, they float. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:41
وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
36:41
And a sign Unto them is that We bear their offspring in a laden ship. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:42
وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ
36:42
And We have created for them of the like thereUnto whereon they ride. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:43
وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ
36:43
And if We list, We shall drown them, and there will be no shout for them, nor will they be saved. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:44
إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
36:44
unless it be a mercy from us, and as an enjoyment for a season. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:45
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
36:45
And when it is said Unto them: fear that which is before you and that which is behind you, that haply ye may find mercy, they withdraw. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:46
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍ مِّنْ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
36:46
And not a sign cometh Unto them of the signs of their Lord, but they are ever backsliders therefrom. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:47
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:47
And when it is said Unto them: expend of that wherewith Allah hath provided you, those who disbelieve say Unto those who believe: shall we feed those whom God Himself would have fed, if He listed? Ye are in naught else than error manifest. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:48
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
36:48
And they say: when will this promise be fulfilled if ye say sooth? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:49
مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
36:49
They await not but one shout, which shall lay hold of them while they are yet wrangling. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:50
فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
36:50
And they will not be able to make a disposition, nor to their family they return. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:51
وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ
36:51
And the trumpet shall be blown, and lo! from the tombs Unto their Lord they shall be hastening. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:52
قَالُوا۟ يَـٰوَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ ۗ هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
36:52
They will say: Ah woe Unto us! who hath roused us from our sleeping-place? This is that which the Compassionate had promised, and truly spake the sent ones. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:53
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
36:53
It shall be but one shout; and lo! they shall all be brought together before us. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:54
فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
36:54
To-day no soul will be wronged at all; nor shall ye be requited but for that which ye have been working. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:55
إِنَّ أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى شُغُلٍ فَـٰكِهُونَ
36:55
Verily the fellows of the Garden to-day shall be happily employed. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:56
هُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ
36:56
They and their spouses, in shade on couches shall be reclining. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:57
لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ
36:57
Theirs shall be fruit therein and theirs shall be whatsoever they ask for. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:58
سَلَـٰمٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ
36:58
Peace shall be the word from the Lord Merciful. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:59
وَٱمْتَـٰزُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
36:59
And separate yourselves this Day, O ye culprits! - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:60
۞ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَـٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
36:60
Enjoined I not on you, ye children of Adam, that ye shall not worship the Satan - verily he is Unto you manifest foe. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:61
وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِى ۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
36:61
And that: ye shall worship Me; this is the straight path? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:62
وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْقِلُونَ
36:62
And yet assuredly he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Wherefore reflect ye not? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:63
هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
36:63
Yonder is Hell, which ye were promised. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:64
ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
36:64
Roast therein To-day for that ye have been disbelieving. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:65
ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
36:65
To-day We shall seal upon their mouths, and their hands will speak Unto us, and their feet will bear witness of that which they have been earning. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:66
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ
36:66
And if We listed, surely We should wipe out their eyes so that they would struggle for the way how then would they see? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:67
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَـٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟ مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
36:67
And if We listed, surely We should transform them in their places, so that they would be able neither to go forward nor to return - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:68
وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
36:68
And whomsoever We grant long life, We reverse him in creation. Reflect then they not? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:69
وَمَا عَلَّمْنَـٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْءَانٌ مُّبِينٌ
36:69
And We have not taught him poetry, nor it befitteth him. This is but an admonition and a Recital luminous: - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:70
لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
36:70
In order that it may warn him who is alive, and that the sentence may be justified on the infidels. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:71
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَـٰمًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَـٰلِكُونَ
36:71
Observe they not that We have created for them, of that which Our hands have worked, cattle: so that they are their owners. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:72
وَذَلَّلْنَـٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
36:72
And We have subdued them Unto them, so that some of them they have for riding and on some of them they feed? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:73
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
36:73
And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:74
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
36:74
And they have taken beside Allah gods, hoping that haply they may be succoured. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:75
لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ
36:75
They are not able to give them succour; whereas they shall be against them host brought forward. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:76
فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
36:76
So let not their speech grieve thee. Verily We! We know whatsoever they keep secret and whatsoever they make known. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:77
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ
36:77
Beholdest not man that We have created him from a sperm? Yet lo! he is a manifest disputer? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:78
وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَـٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌ
36:78
And he propoundeth for us a similitude, and forgetteth his creation, He saith: who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:79
قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ
36:79
Say thou:" He shall quicken them Who brought them forth for the first time, and He is of every kind of creation the Knower! - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:80
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ
36:80
Who giveth you out of the green tree fire, and lo! ye kindle therewith. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:81
أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
36:81
Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of these? Yea! He is the Supreme Creator, the Knower. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:82
إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
36:82
His affair, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith Unto it: be, and it becometh. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
36:83
فَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
36:83
Wherefore hallowed be He in whose hand is the governance of everything, and Unto whom ye shall be returned. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
