بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

36:1 يسٓ
36:1 Ya Sin. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:2 وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ
36:2 By the Quran, full of wisdom, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:3 إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
36:3 you are indeed one of the messengers - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:4 عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
36:4 on a straight path, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:5 تَنزِيلَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
36:5 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:6 لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَـٰفِلُونَ
36:6 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:7 لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
36:7 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:8 إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَـٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَـٰلًا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
36:8 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:9 وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَـٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
36:9 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:10 وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
36:10 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:11 إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ
36:11 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:12 إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَـٰرَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَـٰهُ فِىٓ إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:12 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:13 وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَآءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
36:13 Recount to them the example of the people to whose town Our messengers came. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:14 إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ
36:14 When We sent them two messengers, they rejected them both, so We strengthened them with a third. They said, "Truly, we have been sent to you [by God] as messengers." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:15 قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ
36:15 They replied, "You are nothing but mortal men like us and the Merciful God has not revealed anything. You are surely lying." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:16 قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ
36:16 They said, "Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:17 وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
36:17 And our duty is only to convey the message to you clearly," - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:18 قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا۟ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
36:18 but they answered, "We see an evil omen in you. If you do not stop, we shall certainly stone you, and you will suffer a painful punishment at our hands." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:19 قَالُوا۟ طَـٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ
36:19 They said, "Your evil augury be with you! Is it because you are admonished about the truth? Surely, you are a people transgressing all bounds!" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:20 وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
36:20 Then, from the furthest part of the city, a man came running. He said, "My people, follow the messengers. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:21 ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرًا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
36:21 Follow those who ask no recompense of you and are rightly guided. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:22 وَمَا لِىَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
36:22 "Why should I not worship Him who has brought me into being, and to whom you shall all be recalled? - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:23 ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ
36:23 Shall I take others besides Him as gods? If the Gracious God should intend me any harm, their intercession will be of no avail, nor can they deliver me. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:24 إِنِّىٓ إِذًا لَّفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:24 In that case I should indeed be in manifest error. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:25 إِنِّىٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِ
36:25 Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:26 قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۖ قَالَ يَـٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ
36:26 We said to him, "Enter paradise," and he exclaimed: "Would that my people knew - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:27 بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
36:27 how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honoured ones!" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:28 ۞ وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٍ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ
36:28 After him We did not send down against his people a host from heaven, nor do We send down such hosts: - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:29 إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَـٰمِدُونَ
36:29 it was but one great blast and they fell down lifeless. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:30 يَـٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
36:30 Alas for human beings! They ridicule every messenger that comes to them. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:31 أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
36:31 Do they not see how many generations We have destroyed before them? Never shall they return to them. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:32 وَإِن كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
36:32 All of them, gathered together, will certainly be brought before Us. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:33 وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَـٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
36:33 There is a sign for them in the lifeless earth. We revive it and We produce grain from it of which they eat. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:34 وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّـٰتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَـٰبٍ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ
36:34 We have placed in it gardens of date palms and vines, and caused springs to gush [forth] from it, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:35 لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
36:35 so that they may eat its fruit, though it was not their hands that made this. Will they not then be grateful? - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:36 سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
36:36 Holy is He who created all things in pairs; of what the earth grows, and of themselves, and other things which they do not know. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:37 وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ
36:37 They have a sign in the night: We withdraw from it the [light of] day -- and they are left in darkness. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:38 وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ
36:38 The sun, too, follows its determined course laid down for it by the Almighty, the All Knowing. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:39 وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَـٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ
36:39 We have ordained phases for the moon until finally it becomes like an old date-stalk. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:40 لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنۢبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فِى فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
36:40 The sun cannot overtake the moon, nor can the night outpace the day: each floats in [its own] orbit. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:41 وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
36:41 Another sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the laden Ark. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:42 وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ
36:42 We have created for them the like of it in which they ride. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:43 وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ
36:43 If it were Our will, We could drown them: then there would be no helper [to hear their cry], nor could they be saved. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:44 إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
36:44 It is only by Our mercy that they are granted provision for a time. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:45 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
36:45 When they are told, "guard yourselves against what is before you and what is behind you, in order that you may be shown mercy," [they turn away]. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:46 وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍ مِّنْ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
36:46 Indeed, not one of your Lord's signs comes to them without their turning away from it, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:47 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:47 and when they are told, "Give to others out of what God has provided for you," those who are bent on denying the truth say to the believers, "Why should we feed those whom God could feed if He wanted? You are clearly in error!" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:48 وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
36:48 They say, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:49 مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
36:49 They must be waiting for but one single blast, which will overtake them while they are still disputing. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:50 فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
36:50 They will have no time to make a will, nor shall they return to their own people. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:51 وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ
36:51 The trumpet will be blown and, at once, they will rise up from their graves, and hasten to their Lord. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:52 قَالُوا۟ يَـٰوَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ ۗ هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
36:52 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:53 إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
36:53 It will be but one blast, and they will all be brought before Us together. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:54 فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
36:54 On that Day no soul shall suffer the least injustice. You shall be rewarded only according to your deeds. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:55 إِنَّ أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى شُغُلٍ فَـٰكِهُونَ
36:55 The people of Paradise shall be happily occupied on that Day, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:56 هُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ
36:56 they and their wives, shall recline on couches in the shade. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:57 لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ
36:57 They shall have fruits therein, and all that they ask for. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:58 سَلَـٰمٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ
36:58 "Peace!" shall be the greeting from the Merciful Lord. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:59 وَٱمْتَـٰزُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
36:59 [And God will say], "Separate yourselves from the righteous this Day, you criminals. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:60 ۞ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَـٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
36:60 Did I not enjoin you, sons of Adam, not to worship Satan -- for he is your sworn enemy, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:61 وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِى ۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
36:61 but to worship Me? Surely, that is a straight path. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:62 وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْقِلُونَ
36:62 Yet he led astray a great multitude of you. Why did you not then understand? - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:63 هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
36:63 This is the Hell you were promised. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:64 ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
36:64 Enter it this Day on account of your denial of the truth." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:65 ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
36:65 Today We shall seal up their mouths and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to their misdeeds. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:66 وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ
36:66 If it had been Our will, We could have put out their eyes. They would have struggled to find the way, but how could they have seen it? - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:67 وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَـٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟ مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
36:67 If it had been Our will, We could have paralysed them where they stood, so that they would not be able to go forward or turn back. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:68 وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
36:68 If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:69 وَمَا عَلَّمْنَـٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْءَانٌ مُّبِينٌ
36:69 We have not taught him any poetry nor would it be fitting for him. This is merely a Reminder and a clear Quran - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:70 لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
36:70 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:71 أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَـٰمًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَـٰلِكُونَ
36:71 Do they not see that, among the things which Our hands have fashioned, We have created for them cattle of which they are the masters, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:72 وَذَلَّلْنَـٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
36:72 We have subjected these to them, so that some may be used for riding and some for food, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:73 وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
36:73 some for milk to drink and some from which other benefits may be received? Will they not be grateful? - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:74 وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
36:74 They have set up other gods besides God, hoping to be helped by them, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:75 لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ
36:75 but they are not able to help them: rather they will be brought before God as their allied host. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:76 فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
36:76 Let not their words grieve you. We have knowledge of all that they conceal and all that they reveal. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:77 أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ
36:77 Does not man see that We created him from a drop. Yet there he is, flagrantly contentious, - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:78 وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَـٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌ
36:78 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:79 قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ
36:79 Say, "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life again: He has knowledge of every type of creation: - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:80 ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ
36:80 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:81 أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
36:81 Is He who created the heavens and earth not able to create others like these people? Of course He is! He is indeed the Supreme Creator, the All Knowing: - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:82 إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
36:82 when He decrees a thing, He need only say, "Be!" and it is. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)

36:83 فَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
36:83 So glory be to Him who has control over all things. It is to Him that you will all be brought back. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
