بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
77:1
وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًا
77:1
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:2
فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًا
77:2
storming tempestuously - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:3
وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا
77:3
and by the scatterers scattering (rain) - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:4
فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًا
77:4
then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:5
فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا
77:5
and those (angels) dropping, reminding - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:6
عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
77:6
excusing or warning, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:7
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ
77:7
surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:8
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
77:8
When the stars are extinguished, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:9
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ
77:9
and when the sky is rent asunder - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:10
وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
77:10
and the mountains scattered, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:11
وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
77:11
and when the Messengers' time is set - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:12
لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
77:12
to what day shall they be deferred? - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:13
لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ
77:13
Upon the Day of Decision! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:14
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ
77:14
Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:15
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:15
Woe on that Day to those who belied it! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:16
أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
77:16
Did We not destroy the ancients - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:17
ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
77:17
and let the latter follow them? - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:18
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
77:18
As such shall We deal with the sinners. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:19
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:19
Woe on that Day to those who belied it! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:20
أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ
77:20
Did We not create you from a weak water, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:21
فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ
77:21
which We placed within a sure lodging - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:22
إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
77:22
for an appointed term? - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:23
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ
77:23
We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:24
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:24
Woe on that Day to those who belied it! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:25
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
77:25
Have We not made the earth a housing - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:26
أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا
77:26
for both the living and the dead? - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:27
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا
77:27
Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:28
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:28
Woe on that Day to those who belied it! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:29
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
77:29
Depart to that which you belied! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:30
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍ
77:30
Depart into the shadow of three masses, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:31
لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
77:31
wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:32
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ
77:32
it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:33
كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ
77:33
as black camels. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:34
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:34
Woe on that Day to those who belied it! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:35
هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
77:35
This is the Day they shall not speak, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:36
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
77:36
nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:37
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:37
Woe on that Day to those who belied it! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:38
هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
77:38
Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:39
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
77:39
If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:40
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:40
Woe on that Day to those who belied it! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:41
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ
77:41
Indeed, the cautious, shall live amid shades and fountains - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:42
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
77:42
and have such fruits as they desire. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:43
كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
77:43
(It shall be said to them): 'Eat and drink, with a good appetite, for all that you did' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:44
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
77:44
As such We recompense those who did good. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:45
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:45
Woe on that Day to those who belied it! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:46
كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ
77:46
'Eat and enjoy yourselves a little, for you are sinners' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:47
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:47
Woe on that Day to those who belied it! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:48
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
77:48
When it is said to them: 'Bow yourselves' they do not bow. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:49
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:49
Woe on that Day to those who belied it! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
77:50
فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ
77:50
After this, in what discourse will they believe? - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
