بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
111:1
تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
111:1
Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
111:2
No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
111:3
Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
111:4
His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!- - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
111:5
A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
