Transliteration
Wahiduddin Khan
                    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
                
                
                    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
                
            
                    97:1
                    إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    97:1
                    Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree)  - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    97:2
                    وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    97:2
                    And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is?  - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    97:3
                    لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    97:3
                    The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months).  - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    97:4
                    تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    97:4
                    Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees,  - Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    97:5
                    سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    97:5
