بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

50:1 قٓ ۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْمَجِيدِ
50:1 By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:2 بَلْ عَجِبُوٓا۟ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَقَالَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ هَـٰذَا شَىْءٌ عَجِيبٌ
50:2 In fact, it seems odd (to the pagans) that a warner from their own people has come to them. The disbelievers have said, "It is very strange - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:3 أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا ۖ ذَٰلِكَ رَجْعٌۢ بَعِيدٌ
50:3 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:4 قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنقُصُ ٱلْأَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَعِندَنَا كِتَـٰبٌ حَفِيظٌۢ
50:4 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:5 بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فِىٓ أَمْرٍ مَّرِيجٍ
50:5 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:6 أَفَلَمْ يَنظُرُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَوْقَهُمْ كَيْفَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِن فُرُوجٍ
50:6 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:7 وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَـٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍۭ بَهِيجٍ
50:7 (Have they not seen) how We have spread out the earth, placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:8 تَبْصِرَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُّنِيبٍ
50:8 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:9 وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً مُّبَـٰرَكًا فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتٍ وَحَبَّ ٱلْحَصِيدِ
50:9 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:10 وَٱلنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَـٰتٍ لَّهَا طَلْعٌ نَّضِيدٌ
50:10 and tall palm-trees with clusters of dates - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:11 رِّزْقًا لِّلْعِبَادِ ۖ وَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْخُرُوجُ
50:11 as sustenance for My servants. With this We have brought the dead land back to life. Thus, will also be your resurrection. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:12 كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ
50:12 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:13 وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ وَإِخْوَٰنُ لُوطٍ
50:13 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:14 وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ ۚ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيدِ
50:14 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:15 أَفَعَيِينَا بِٱلْخَلْقِ ٱلْأَوَّلِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى لَبْسٍ مِّنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
50:15 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:16 وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفْسُهُۥ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيدِ
50:16 We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:17 إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى ٱلْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌ
50:17 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:18 مَّا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ
50:18 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:19 وَجَآءَتْ سَكْرَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ
50:19 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:20 وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْوَعِيدِ
50:20 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:21 وَجَآءَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّعَهَا سَآئِقٌ وَشَهِيدٌ
50:21 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:22 لَّقَدْ كُنتَ فِى غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَـٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ
50:22 (He will be told), "You were completely heedless of this day. We have removed the veil from your eyes and your vision will now be sharp and strong". - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:23 وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ هَـٰذَا مَا لَدَىَّ عَتِيدٌ
50:23 His (angelic) companion will say, "(Lord), the record of his deeds is with me and is all ready". - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:24 أَلْقِيَا فِى جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ
50:24 (They will be told,) "Throw into hell every persistent disbelievers, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:25 مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ مُّرِيبٍ
50:25 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:26 ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَأَلْقِيَاهُ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلشَّدِيدِ
50:26 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:27 ۞ قَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَآ أَطْغَيْتُهُۥ وَلَـٰكِن كَانَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ
50:27 His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:28 قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا۟ لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِٱلْوَعِيدِ
50:28 The Lord will say, "Do not argue in My presence; I had certainly sent you a warning. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:29 مَا يُبَدَّلُ ٱلْقَوْلُ لَدَىَّ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِظَلَّـٰمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
50:29 No word is to be exchanged in My presence. I am not unjust to My servants". - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:30 يَوْمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ ٱمْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِن مَّزِيدٍ
50:30 On that day We shall ask hell, "Are you full?" It will say, "Are there any more?" - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:31 وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ
50:31 Paradise will be brought near for the pious ones - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:32 هَـٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِيظٍ
50:32 (and they will be told), "This is what you were promised. It is for everyone who turned in repentance to God, kept his promise, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:33 مَّنْ خَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُّنِيبٍ
50:33 feared the Beneficent God in secret, and turned to Him with a repenting heart". - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:34 ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُلُودِ
50:34 (They will be told), "Enter Paradise in peace and, therein, you will live forever". - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:35 لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ
50:35 They will have therein whatever they want and will receive from Us more rewards - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:36 وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَـٰدِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ
50:36 How many an ancient town who were much stronger than them (unbelievers) did We destroy. (In vain), they wandered through the land in search of a place of refuge from Our torment. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:37 إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ
50:37 This is a reminder for everyone who understands, listens, and sees. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:38 وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ
50:38 We created the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them in six days without experiencing any fatigue. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:39 فَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ ٱلْغُرُوبِ
50:39 (Muhammad), exercise patience against what they say. Glorify your Lord with His praise before sunrise and sunset. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:40 وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَـٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ
50:40 Glorify Him during the night and also glorify Him after prostration. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:41 وَٱسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ ٱلْمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ
50:41 Wait for the day when the trumpet will be sounded from a nearby place. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:42 يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُونَ ٱلصَّيْحَةَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُرُوجِ
50:42 On that day they will certainly hear the sound of the trumpet and that will be the Day of Resurrection. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:43 إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْنَا ٱلْمَصِيرُ
50:43 We give life and cause things to die. To Us all things will return. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:44 يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلْأَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ
50:44 On the day when the earth is rent asunder, they will quickly come out of their graves. This is how easy it is for Us to bring about the Day of Resurrection. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

50:45 نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ
50:45 We know best what they say and you cannot compel them. Remind, by way of the Quran, those who have fear of My warnings. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
