بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

50:1 قٓ ۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْمَجِيدِ
50:1 Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:2 بَلْ عَجِبُوٓا۟ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَقَالَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ هَـٰذَا شَىْءٌ عَجِيبٌ
50:2 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:3 أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا ۖ ذَٰلِكَ رَجْعٌۢ بَعِيدٌ
50:3 What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:4 قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنقُصُ ٱلْأَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَعِندَنَا كِتَـٰبٌ حَفِيظٌۢ
50:4 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:5 بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فِىٓ أَمْرٍ مَّرِيجٍ
50:5 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:6 أَفَلَمْ يَنظُرُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَوْقَهُمْ كَيْفَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِن فُرُوجٍ
50:6 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:7 وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَـٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍۭ بَهِيجٍ
50:7 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:8 تَبْصِرَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُّنِيبٍ
50:8 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:9 وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً مُّبَـٰرَكًا فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتٍ وَحَبَّ ٱلْحَصِيدِ
50:9 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:10 وَٱلنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَـٰتٍ لَّهَا طَلْعٌ نَّضِيدٌ
50:10 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:11 رِّزْقًا لِّلْعِبَادِ ۖ وَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْخُرُوجُ
50:11 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:12 كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ
50:12 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:13 وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ وَإِخْوَٰنُ لُوطٍ
50:13 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:14 وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ ۚ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيدِ
50:14 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:15 أَفَعَيِينَا بِٱلْخَلْقِ ٱلْأَوَّلِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى لَبْسٍ مِّنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
50:15 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:16 وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفْسُهُۥ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيدِ
50:16 Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:17 إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى ٱلْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌ
50:17 When both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:18 مَّا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ
50:18 whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:19 وَجَآءَتْ سَكْرَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ
50:19 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:20 وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْوَعِيدِ
50:20 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:21 وَجَآءَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّعَهَا سَآئِقٌ وَشَهِيدٌ
50:21 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:22 لَّقَدْ كُنتَ فِى غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَـٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ
50:22 (It will be said): 'Of this you have been heedless. Therefore, we have now removed your covering. Today your sight is sharp' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:23 وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ هَـٰذَا مَا لَدَىَّ عَتِيدٌ
50:23 And his companion will say: 'This is that which I have present' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:24 أَلْقِيَا فِى جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ
50:24 (It will be said): 'Indeed, cast into Gehenna (Hell) every deviating unbeliever, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:25 مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ مُّرِيبٍ
50:25 forbidder of good, transgressor and doubter, - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:26 ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَأَلْقِيَاهُ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلشَّدِيدِ
50:26 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:27 ۞ قَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَآ أَطْغَيْتُهُۥ وَلَـٰكِن كَانَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ
50:27 And his companion shall say: 'Our Lord, I did not make him insolent, he was far astray' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:28 قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا۟ لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِٱلْوَعِيدِ
50:28 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:29 مَا يُبَدَّلُ ٱلْقَوْلُ لَدَىَّ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِظَلَّـٰمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
50:29 The Word cannot be changed with Me; I do not wrong My worshipers' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:30 يَوْمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ ٱمْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِن مَّزِيدٍ
50:30 On that Day We shall ask Gehenna: 'Are you full' And it will answer: 'Are there any more' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:31 وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ
50:31 And Paradise, which is not far away, shall be brought closer to those who were cautious. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:32 هَـٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِيظٍ
50:32 (It shall be said to them): 'This is that you were promised. It is for every heeding penitent. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:33 مَّنْ خَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُّنِيبٍ
50:33 Whosoever fears the Merciful in the Unseen, and comes with a contrite heart. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:34 ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُلُودِ
50:34 Enter it in peace. This is the Day of Eternity' - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:35 لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ
50:35 There they have all that they desire, and with Us is much more. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:36 وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَـٰدِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ
50:36 How many generations, stronger in might than they have We destroyed before them! They searched the land, could they find any asylum? - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:37 إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ
50:37 Surely, in this there is a Reminder for he who has a heart or listens attentively while witnessing. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:38 وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ
50:38 In six days We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them and no weariness touched Us! - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:39 فَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ ٱلْغُرُوبِ
50:39 Bear then with patience what they say. Exalt with the praise of your Lord before sunrise and before sunset. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:40 وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَـٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ
50:40 And exalt Him in the night, and at the ends of the prostrations. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:41 وَٱسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ ٱلْمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ
50:41 Listen for the Day when the Caller will call from a nearby place. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:42 يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُونَ ٱلصَّيْحَةَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُرُوجِ
50:42 On the Day when they will hear the Shout, in truth that Day they will emerge. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:43 إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْنَا ٱلْمَصِيرُ
50:43 It is We who give life and make to die. To Us is the arrival. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:44 يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلْأَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ
50:44 Upon that Day the earth will be rent asunder from around them as they hurry forth that is an easy gathering for Us. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)

50:45 نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ
50:45 Indeed, We know what they say. You (Prophet Muhammad) are not a tyrant over them. Therefore, remind by the Koran whosoever fears (My) threat. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
