بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
101:1 ٱلْقَارِعَةُ

The Clatterer!
101:2 مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ

What is the Clatterer?
101:3 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ

Would that you knew what the Clatterer is!
101:4 يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ
101:4

[It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths
101:5 وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ
101:5

and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool.
101:6 فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
101:6

Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales,
101:7 فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ

will have a most pleasing life.
101:8 وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
101:8
Wahiduddin Khan (English) :
But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales,
101:9 فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ
101:9
Wahiduddin Khan (English) :
the Abyss shall be his home.
101:10 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ

What will convey to you what this is like?
101:11 نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ
101:11

It is a blazing fire.
