Transliteration
Wahiduddin Khan
                    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
                
                
                    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
                
            
                    67:1
                    تَبَـٰرَكَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:1
                    Blessed is He in whose hand is the Kingdom: He has power over all things;  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:2
                    ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفُورُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:2
                    He created death and life so that He might test you, and find out which of you is best in conduct. He is the Mighty, the Most Forgiving One.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:3
                    ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَـٰوَٰتٍ طِبَاقًا ۖ مَّا تَرَىٰ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ مِن تَفَـٰوُتٍ ۖ فَٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:3
                    He created seven heavens one above the other in layers. You will not find any flaw in the creation of the Gracious One. Then look once again: can you see any flaw?  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:4
                    ثُمَّ ٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:4
                    Then look again and again. Your gaze will come back to you confused and exhausted.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:5
                    وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَـٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَـٰطِينِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:5
                    We have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps, and We have made them for driving away devils. For them We have prepared the punishment of the blazing Fire.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:6
                    وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:6
                    Those who are bent on blaspheming against their Lord will have the punishment of Hell: an evil destination.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:7
                    إِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ فِيهَا سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا شَهِيقًا وَهِىَ تَفُورُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:7
                    When they are cast into it, they will hear its roaring as it boils up,  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:8
                    تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ٱلْغَيْظِ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:8
                    as though bursting with rage. Each time a group is cast into it, its keepers will ask them, "Did no warner come to you?"  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:9
                    قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ كَبِيرٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:9
                    They will say, "Of course, a warner did come to us, but we belied him and we said, 'God has revealed nothing; you are in gross error.'"  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:10
                    وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِىٓ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:10
                    They will say, "If we had only listened or understood, we should not now be among the inmates of Hell,"  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:11
                    فَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًا لِّأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:11
                    and thus they will confess their sin; far from God's mercy are the inmates of Hell.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:12
                    إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَيْبِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:12
                    As for those who fear their Lord in the unseen will have forgiveness and a rich reward.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:13
                    وَأَسِرُّوا۟ قَوْلَكُمْ أَوِ ٱجْهَرُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:13
                    Whether you speak in secret or aloud, He knows what is in every heart.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:14
                    أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:14
                    How could He who created not know His own creation, when He alone is the Most Subtle in His wisdom and the All Aware?  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:15
                    هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًا فَٱمْشُوا۟ فِى مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِهِۦ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلنُّشُورُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:15
                    It is He who has made the earth subservient to you, so traverse its regions and eat its provisions. To Him you shall all be resurrected.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:16
                    ءَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَمُورُ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:16
                    Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to sink beneath you and then begin to quake?  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:17
                    أَمْ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِيرِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:17
                    Do you feel secure that the One in heaven will not send against you a whirlwind to pelt you with stones, so that you will know how [true] My warning was?  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:18
                    وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:18
                    Those who went before them belied [the truth]: then how great was My rejection of them.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:19
                    أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صَـٰٓفَّـٰتٍ وَيَقْبِضْنَ ۚ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍۭ بَصِيرٌ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:19
                    Do they not see the birds above them spreading and closing their wings? None save the Merciful sustains them. Surely, He observes all things.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:20
                    أَمَّنْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى هُوَ جُندٌ لَّكُمْ يَنصُرُكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۚ إِنِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ إِلَّا فِى غُرُورٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:20
                    Who is there to defend you like an army, besides the Lord of Mercy? Those who deny the truth are in deception.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:21
                    أَمَّنْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى يَرْزُقُكُمْ إِنْ أَمْسَكَ رِزْقَهُۥ ۚ بَل لَّجُّوا۟ فِى عُتُوٍّ وَنُفُورٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:21
                    Who can provide for you, if He withholds His provision? Yet they obstinately persist in rebellion and avoidance of the truth.  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:22
                    أَفَمَن يَمْشِى مُكِبًّا عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِۦٓ أَهْدَىٰٓ أَمَّن يَمْشِى سَوِيًّا عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:22
                    Is he who walks grovelling upon his face better guided, or he who walks upright upon a straight path?  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:23
                    قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۖ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:23
                    Say, "It is He who brought you into being, and made ears and eyes and hearts for you, yet you are seldom grateful."  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:24
                    قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى ذَرَأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:24
                    Say, "It is He who has scattered you on the earth; and it is to Him that you shall all be gathered [on the Day of Resurrection].  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:25
                    وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:25
                    They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?"  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:26
                    قُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْعِلْمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:26
                    Say, "God alone has knowledge of that; and I am only a plain warner."  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:27
                    فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِيٓـَٔتْ وُجُوهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَقِيلَ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَدَّعُونَ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:27
                    But when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "This is what you were calling for."  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:28
                    قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَهْلَكَنِىَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِىَ أَوْ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:28
                    Say, "Have you thought: if God destroys me and those who are with me, or treats us mercifully, then who will protect those who deny the truth from a painful chastisement?"  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:29
                    قُلْ هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:29
                    Say, "He is the Most Gracious: we believe in Him and we put our trust in Him. You will soon come to know who is in evident error."  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:30
                    قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَآؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَن يَأْتِيكُم بِمَآءٍ مَّعِينٍۭ
                
                
                
                
                
                    67:30
                    Say, "Have you considered if your water were to sink  into the ground, who could then bring you flowing water?"  - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
