بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
97:1
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ
97:1
Behold, We revealed this (Qur'an) on the Night of Power. - Abul Ala Maududi (English)

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ
97:2
And what do you know what the Night of Power is? - Abul Ala Maududi (English)

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
97:3
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. - Abul Ala Maududi (English)

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ
97:4
The angels along with the Spirit descend in it by the permission of their Lord with all kinds of decrees. - Abul Ala Maududi (English)

سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ
97:5
