لَّا يَسْـَٔمُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مِن دُعَآءِ ٱلْخَيْرِ وَإِن مَّسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَيَـُٔوسٌ قَنُوطٌ

Man does not weary of asking for good (things), but if ill touches him, he gives up all hope (and) is lost in despair. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
