23:76
وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَـٰهُم بِٱلْعَذَابِ فَمَا ٱسْتَكَانُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ

We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
