4:22
وَلَا تَنكِحُوا۟ مَا نَكَحَ ءَابَآؤُكُم مِّنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَـٰحِشَةً وَمَقْتًا وَسَآءَ سَبِيلًا
4:22
And marry not women whom your fathers married, except what has already passed; indeed it was shameful and Maqtan, and an evil way. - Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri (English)
