قَدْ قَالَهَا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ

Their predecessors also said the same, but their earnings proved of no avail to them, - Abul Ala Maududi (English)
